I have been in the computer industry for over 15 years. I started off doing jobs for a tech contract company while going to school as a computer programmer. I was hired as an installer/designer to build computers for the blind and the visually challenged for the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. When the company closed, a friend and I started a new company to perform computer repairs. Not long after this, we merged with another company which enabled us to not only repair computers, but also build custom computer/network solutions for our customers. Unfortunately, the Y2K scare forced us to close our doors and seek employment.

A tech contract company hired me to work with Wachovia on their Y2K Project. Once that contract was over, I worked for another company as their network administrator (this involved network design, administration, and computer repair). When this company downsized, I decided it was time to venture out on my own again.

In 2003, I started Dakota Technology Group to serve customers in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina, as well as remote customers nationwide. I truly enjoy helping companies and individuals fix computer problems and solve complex network issues.
